My Process
01.
DISCOVERY
After receiving your inquiry, I will set up a kick off call to discuss your goals, the timeline and what you have in mind for assets (Do you have a brand? Did I do your brand? Do you have any copy content? Do you have images or graphics?). From there, I will put together a proposal that outlines our project details together. Everything from scope to timeline to payment plan. Once you agree to the proposal, I will invite you to our project on Notion that will house all of our files and track our progress. Heck ya to everything being in one place! There, you can sign contracts to get us started.
02.
CONTENT & WIREFRAMES
After we have defined who is responsible for the content, we can move forward. If I am responsible for it, this is when I will begin creating it. If you have it, pass it on over! I will then make a wireframe of the site, which is a simplified, blocked out, undesigned “map” of your site. This helps me take the content we need and organize it into a good user experience (UX), and it helps us categorize your content before taking it to design. This is the most important step for my UX first approach to web design. It is also a good time to see if there is any content you might be missing.
03.
DESIGN
I use Squarespace to build websites, which leaves you with a very user friendly backend to make copy and image updates yourself down the road. After we have organized and aligned on your content, I will then build and design your website to bring it to life with your brand. You will have 2 rounds of revisions here if needed after the initial design.
04.
DELIVERY
Once we have gotten the site to a place that we are happy with, we will go live! I will point your domain name to this new site, then transfer the site to your ownership within squarespace. We will join one last time for a call to walk through how to make updates to the site yourself when you need to.
